Tools that run in your browser
Most of the tools never upload anything: the PDF, image, audio, video and text tools do their work on the visitor's own device, with web workers and WebAssembly where the work is heavy. Before a tool loads, the page checks that the browser has what it needs and says what is missing if it does not.
Exam data from the official lists
The university and Grade 5 cut-off marks are transcribed number for number from the official lists and checked by script before they go live. They are served as search tools that work on a phone, with the full tables in the page for anyone who wants them. Each dataset page names its source and how it was checked.
A watcher checks the official sites every 30 minutes, so a new release is noticed the day it comes out.
A blog with an AI newsroom
The blog's news posts are written by an AI newsroom: Claude drafts each post from its sources on a schedule, a separate pass checks the facts, and the server caps how many go out each day and week and refuses a story it has already covered. Every such post is labelled AI-generated, and the newsroom page explains the rules.
Running it
The site is one Next.js app with a SQLite database, running in Docker on a small Linux server behind Cloudflare. Every change is built as a new image and tested against a copy of the live data, with more than 2,000 automated checks, before it replaces the running one. The previous image is kept, so a change can be rolled back in seconds.
An admin panel, signed into with a passkey, holds the blog, a mailbox and search dashboards fed from Google Search Console.
